Melissa's Story - Crisis Centre BC
“Melissa’s Story” was created to bring visibility to the real, human impact of crisis support and bereavement services.
Through a grounded, cinematic interview and visual storytelling, the film creates space for vulnerability while reinforcing the critical role accessible mental health support plays in our communities.
The goal wasn’t to dramatize.
It was to build trust.
The film has been used across digital platforms and community outreach efforts to raise awareness, strengthen credibility, and encourage individuals to seek help when they need it most.
This is storytelling rooted in empathy, designed to move people toward connection, not just attention.
